Warehouse Technician

Job Description

Networks Connect is partnering with a well-established, family-owned company in a search for an outstanding Warehouse Technician! This hands-on role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals with prior warehouse experience who enjoy working in a team-focused environment. You’ll be responsible for moving materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, operating forklifts, and supporting a wide range of warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, hand trucks, and material handling equipment
• Unload, pick, pack, and ship products accurately via UPS, FedEx, and LTL carriers
• Receive and stock incoming materials in a neat, logical system
• Maintain a clean warehouse space through regular sweeping and dusting
• Communicate professionally with team members, vendors, and walk-in customers
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist with order fulfillment
• Use basic tools for minor repairs and preparing shipments
• Enter and retrieve data in ERP systems and shipping software
• Make efficiency improvement suggestions to management
• Adapt to dynamic customer and company requirements as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior warehouse experience
• Valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to obtain a Class E license (for short-haul driving)
• Ability to lift and stack boxes over 75 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, ERP platforms, shipping software, and web tools
• Strong math and memorization skills
• Forklift certification (or willingness to complete training)

Position Highlights

• Pay: $19/hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
• PTO: 2 weeks paid vacation, 1 week sick leave, 1 week personal time
