We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Quality & Safety Division as a Safety & Quality Coordinator for Emergency Services & Sepsis Management.
Job Summary
As an RN Safety & Quality Coordinator, you will be a key driver of patient safety initiatives, performance improvement strategies, and quality compliance across our Emergency Services and Sepsis programs. You’ll coordinate sepsis management efforts, analyze data trends, and help implement evidence-based practices that enhance clinical outcomes and efficiency throughout the healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support strategic patient safety and performance improvement initiatives.
- Oversee sepsis data tracking, abstraction, and CMS core measure compliance.
- Manage trauma registry data in accordance with Florida Department of Health standards.
- Facilitate Sepsis Committee meetings, create agendas, and maintain meeting records.
- Serve as a liaison across departments, supporting high-reliability practices.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma and PDSA cycle methodologies for continuous improvement.
- Educate staff on evidence-based clinical guidelines and sepsis protocols.
- Prepare and present standardized performance reports and improvement metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Florida.
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field required; MSN preferred.
- 3+ years of emergency/trauma clinical experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in quality data analysis, performance improvement, and Lean methodologies is a plus.
- Certification in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or IHI training within 2 years of hire.
- BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Strong analytical, communication, and EMR/database navigation skills.

Earnings
$70,000 - $90,000 salary
