Healthcare Training Specialist

Job Description

Networks Connect is hiring a Healthcare Training Specialist that will work in the office. On behalf of our client, a local prominent health system, we are seeking a Training Specialist on a PRN basis to design, develop, and coordinate effective training and development programs for their team. This role involves delivering engaging training and orientation sessions to employees, maintaining comprehensive documentation of training activities, and managing training logistics from registration to competency testing. Additionally, this role will be responsible for auditing accounts to ensure patient information has been captured properly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Development: Assist in crafting and organizing training sessions, developing programs, and conducting competency tests for staff. Ensure course materials are up-to-date and tailored to meet customer needs.
  • Training Implementation: Lead training sessions, evaluate their effectiveness, and conduct general orientation for clinic operations. Develop and manage presentation materials for meetings and facilitate workgroup discussions.
  • Training Logistics: Oversee the training documentation, manage the master training calendar, and ensure the availability of necessary equipment and materials. Coordinate the scheduling of internal and external training resources and ensure all setups are completed for training sessions.
  • Safety Protocols: Promote a safe working environment, ensure compliance with safety standards, and participate in quality and safety checks.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: At least 2 years of related experience, with a strong background in developing and conducting employee training programs, particularly for scheduling and registration systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Office, internet, and internal intranet platforms.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to facilitate group discussions and manage complex logistics effectively.
