Director of Services and Aftermarket Sales
Job Description
Networks Connect is seeking a Director of Services and Aftermarket Sales that will work in office. Networks Connect is conducting a search on behalf of our client, a well-established HVAC manufacturer representative, who is seeking a strategic and driven Aftermarket Sales and Service Director to lead aftermarket sales, service operations, and customer satisfaction efforts for aftermarket products and field services. This is a key leadership position within a thriving organization, with opportunities to drive growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for aftermarket products and services. Identify new business opportunities and support relationships between sales personnel and key clients.
- Service Operations: Oversee the service department to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services. Manage equipment start-up, warranty claims, service contracts, and emergency service.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and customers, providing consultative support and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of over a dozen aftermarket sales and service professionals. Collaboration between service and sales to develop new leads is imperative. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team collaboration and performance.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets for the sales and service departments. Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective operations. Report overall performance quarterly to management.
- Product Development: Collaborate with customers, equipment sales team and HVAC industry to identify customer needs and develop new aftermarket products and services.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities. Use this information to adjust strategies and stay competitive.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, service metrics, and customer feedback. Use data to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a HVAC related field a plus
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and service management, preferably in the HVAC industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Attributes: Customer-focused, results-oriented, collaborative and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Specialized Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and aftermarket products.
- Understanding of service operations and warranty management.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
