Job Description

Networks Connect is conducting a search for a Director of Patient Financial Services to work in office in Baton Rouge, LA. Networks Connect is actively seeking a Director of Patient Financial Services on behalf of a client, to oversee the business operations and financial services for multiple functional areas, including Health Organization, General Physicians Group, Rehab Hospital, and Reference Labs. The ideal candidate will lead strategic planning and performance accountability while driving operational excellence and regulatory compliance. This leadership role is critical to achieving the hospital system’s financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee centralized billing, collections, and cash management functions.
• Implement and manage internal control systems, policies, and procedures to meet cash collection goals.
• Monitor and analyze daily accounts receivable management indicators, ensuring consistent performance.
• Develop and implement tools to measure A/R management performance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, maintaining current knowledge of state and federal regulations.
• Oversee staff training, competency evaluations, and performance improvements, ensuring compliance with IV services and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with management to set department objectives aligned with hospital goals.
• Forecast staffing needs to adapt to market trends and seasonal changes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management or a leadership role.
• Epic PB & HB certifications are preferred.
