Networks Connect is looking for a passionate and experienced Director of Nursing to provide strategic and operational leadership for one or more nursing units. This is a vital leadership opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to direct clinical practice, ensure patient-centered care, manage nursing resources, and cultivate a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee 24/7 operations and clinical excellence of assigned nursing unit(s)
- Ensure safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered care that aligns with hospital standards
- Manage human, financial, and material resources, including budget development and cost control
- Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing team of nursing professionals
- Monitor compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., TJC, ACHA, OSHA, CDC)
- Develop policies, procedures, and standards of care to promote nursing best practices
- Actively participate in hospital-wide planning and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Serve as a visible patient and staff advocate, resolving issues and promoting a culture of accountability
- Champion a professional practice model and shared governance that fosters autonomy and growth
Minimum Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
- Licensure & Certifications:
- Active RN license in the State of Florida
- BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
- Additional certifications may be required depending on unit specialty
- Experience:
- 3–5 years of RN experience required
- 3+ years of progressive nursing leadership experience preferred
- Skills:
- Strong strategic planning, communication, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets, staffing, and quality outcomes
- Intermediate computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
Physical & Emotional Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and walk at least 1 mile per day
- Capable of working under stress, managing conflict, and making rapid decisions
- Requires high emotional intelligence and critical thinking
