Networks Connect Healthcare Staffing is searching for an Administrative Director of Professional Practice, Clinical Excellence & Innovation to help shape the future of nursing across our client’s organization.
This strategic leadership role is essential in advancing high-quality nursing care and promoting nursing excellence through research, education, regulatory readiness, and innovation. The director leads the system-wide integration of the ANCC Magnet® and Pathway to Excellence® frameworks while collaborating across departments to drive patient outcomes, elevate nursing practice, and ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of nursing professional practice models and clinical excellence initiatives
- Manage system-wide efforts to achieve and sustain Magnet®/Pathway to Excellence® designation
- Oversee nursing education programs, simulation training, charge nurse academies, and clinical ladders (EXCEL, STRONG)
- Align education and professional developmentwith nursing and organizational strategic goals
- Ensure regulatory and competency compliance for clinical staff across the system
- Direct nursing research and evidence-based practice integration, IRB submissions, and scholarly dissemination
- Facilitate Shared Governance, nursing peer review, and recognition initiatives (DAISY, Nurses Week, CARING program)
- Serve as the system’s lead on NDNQI submissions, nursing quality monitoring, and interdisciplinary process improvement
- Collaborate with executive nursing leadership, unit managers, and academic institutions to foster clinical innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field
- Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) or relevant doctoral degree
- Current RN license in Florida
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- National specialty certification within 2 years of hire
- Minimum 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience
- Proven success leading teams in Magnet/Pathway designation efforts
- Expertise in nursing education, clinical quality, professional development, and process improvement
- Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills
- Ability to navigate matrixed organizations and lead change initiatives
- Experience with grant writing, regulatory compliance, and interdisciplinary collaboration
Compensation: $129,000 – 170,000 annually
