Patient Access Representative

Job Description

This role starts as a contract-to-hire position. You’ll work directly with the client while being employed through our agency, and we’ll support you every step of the way. If you show strong performance, reliability, and a good fit with the team, you’ll have the opportunity to transition into a permanent role with the client. Contract duration is ~90 days & based on hours worked.

Duties

  • Greet and check in patients, families, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information with accuracy.
  • Collect co-pays and outstanding balances at the time of service.
  • Assist with scheduling follow-up appointments and responding to general questions
  • Use the electronic medical record (EMR) system to enter, update, and maintain patient information.
  • Work closely with clinical staff to support smooth patient flow and overall clinic operations.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience (required)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to show empathy and handle patient needs professionally.
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment while staying detail-oriented.
  • Genuine passion for helping others and creating a positive patient experience.
  • Interest in growing and building a long-term career in healthcare.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus!
