Healthcare Customer Service Representative

Job Description

Networks Connect Professional Staffing is seeking motivated and service-driven Healthcare Customer Service Representatives to join a leading healthcare system in Indianapolis. This position plays a key role in supporting patients through appointment scheduling, insurance coordination, financial guidance, and general patient services.

Please Note: This position requires 4–6 weeks of onsite training in Indianapolis, IN. After successful completion, the role transitions to 100% remote.

Earnings

$16.00 hourly

Location - Remote

  • Indianapolis, IN

Schedule

  • 8-hour day shifts
  • Monday through Friday

Job Type

Duties

  • Handle inbound patient calls regarding appointment scheduling, prescription refills, and general inquiries
  • Schedule appointments accurately across multiple departments and specialties
  • Assist with insurance verification and prior authorizations for procedures and surgeries
  • Educate patients on payment options, including self-pay, billing processes, and available plans
  • Meet department expectations for quality, productivity, and professionalism

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year inbound call center experience (required)
  • Excellent verbal communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to commute to and complete onsite training in Indianapolis, IN

License / Certification

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
