Job Description: Networks Connect Healthcare Staffing is currently conducting a search to add a talented Physical Therapist (PT) to our team. We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Physical Therapist (PT) for an orthopedic clinic including diagnosis such as, sports injuries, fractures, rotator cuff repairs, hip arthroscopies, total joint replacements, spine conditions, work injuries and foot and ankle diagnosis.

Responsibilities

  • The Physical Therapist is responsible for directing and carrying out individualized programs of physical therapy, including assessment of impairment, developing and implementing plan of care, providing education to patients/families/caregivers, and communication to maximize patient progress
  • The Physical Therapist is responsible for supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and Technicians
  • Makes patient care decisions under the Physical Therapy scope of practice
  • Ensures safety at discharge and continuation of progress by providing home exercise programs, family/caregiver instruction, recommendations for assistive equipment and recommendations for continued therapy at home
  • Attends and participates in organizational meetings for communication purposes and process improvement goals
  • Provides input into the processes that occur in the physical therapy department, and in the rehab department, as a whole
  • One on one patient care with 40 minute slots for both treatment and evaluations

Requirements

  • Interest in or experience with working in an orthopedic outpatient therapy clinic setting preferred
  • Familiarity with EMR and Physical Rehabilitation software
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft and Google Suites

License / Certification

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Physical Therapy, or Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required
  • Licensed in PT in the state of Illinois
