RN Labor and Delivery
Job Description
Networks Connect is conducting a search for a RN Labor and Delivery personnel that will work in person. Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. Appropriately assesses, plans, implements, and evaluate patient care. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Circulates during C/Sections, attends deliveries assisting the physician as needed. Follows appropriate policies during the recovery and care of surgical patients. Attends the neonatal station in the C/Section suite and completely assesses the neonate post delivery. Attends fetal monitoring certification classes every two years. Attends S T A B L E certification class if offered is NRP certified. Able to identify necessary information to be communicated to physicians and patients.
Requirements
- Must have ACLS, BLS & NRP certifications; (Must be through the American Heart Association), RQI not accepted
- Must have Basic Fetal Monitoring within 6 months
- Must have Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring with recert every 2 years or equivalent certification
- Must have STABLE certification
- Must have WY RN license, must be attached to resume
- Must have 2 years recent RN Nursery & L&D experience
- Candidates will be required to float between the Lander & Riverton campus’
- Guaranteed hours will be 48 with OT starting at the 49th hour

Pay: $58.00 – $63.00 per hour
