Medical Biller – Account Specialist

Networks Connect LLC is hiring a Medical Account Specialist on behalf of a client located in the Cincinnati, OH area. To be qualified for this position you will have had at least four (4) years of Hospital and/or Physician medical billing experience. Have had prior experience working with denials, maximizing reimbursement, and medical collections.

Earnings

17.00 - 33.00 hourly

Duties

• Primary purpose is to expedite positive cash flow, reduce or eliminate financial loss to department customers, by efficiently billing and follow up, of patient accounts
• Submitting charge information in payer systems
• Following-up on patient account balances including insurance & patient financial balances
• Contacting payers regarding payment, resolve incorrect payment issues
• Reconciliation of monthly reports
• Processing specified and assigned accounts daily according to specialty and unique billing requirements

Requirements

• An ability to multi-task and be extremely detail oriented
• Have a specialized knowledge in Medicaid/ Medicare billing and other payer sources
• Professional Business Office experience
• Have a thorough understanding of Government & Non-Government Contractual billing and Follow-Up Guidelines, based on individual payers
• At least 4 years prior Hospital or Medical Billing experience
