Job Description
Networks Connect is hiring a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) Safety & Quality Coordinator to support system-wide quality initiatives for Women & Children’s Health (WCH) services for our client. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented nursing professional experienced in labor & delivery, data-driven improvement, and evidence-based protocols.
You will serve as a clinical leader guiding performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and best practice implementation across maternal, neonatal, and pediatric services. Your work will impact critical quality measures, improve patient outcomes, and align care standards with national and state-level benchmarks.

Duties
- Lead quality initiatives tied to maternal and child health services, including improvement planning and implementation
- Analyze and report data for state and national metrics (e.g., Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative, Leapfrog, DOH reporting)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external abstractors to ensure accurate, timely data submission
- Facilitate clinical education and simulation training related to women’s and pediatric services
- Organize collaborative improvement meetings and maintain detailed records and meeting minutes
- Identify trends, interpret analytics, and develop quality dashboards for performance feedback
- Assist with EMR optimization to support improved quality data collection and reporting
- Maintain up-to-date clinical protocols and lead regular reviews to ensure ongoing compliance
- Provide insights and lead initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and PDSA methodologies
- Engage in research, policy reviews, and evidence-based guideline development
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum of 3 years nursing experience required (Labor & Delivery preferred)
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
- Experience in healthcare quality improvement, data analysis, or regulatory compliance preferred
- Certification in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or IHI healthcare quality training required within 2 years of hire
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical database navigation

License / Certification
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or ability to obtain within one year
