RN Navigator – Vascular Surgery
Job Description
Networks Connect seeking a dedicated and highly skilled RN Navigator specializing in Vascular Surgery to join our Client’s collaborative healthcare team focused on delivering high-quality surgical and post-acute care. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with vascular surgeons, physician assistants, and clinical staff to coordinate and optimize care across the continuum — from referral to recovery.
If you’re an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in cardiac or vascular patient populations, this role combines hands-on patient education, navigation of complex care pathways, and leadership in protocol development.
Earnings
$34-$45 hourly

Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients referred to the Vascular Surgery Program.
- Coordinate the referral process, including triage, appointment scheduling, and communication with referring physicians.
- Provide thorough pre- and post-operative education and support for vascular patients and their families.
- Collaborate with surgeons, physician assistants, and clinical staff to streamline care transitions and ensure protocol adherence.
- Lead patient assessments including surgical risk evaluations and coordination of diagnostics (labs, vascular studies, imaging, etc.).
- Act as a clinical educator for internal staff and external partners on vascular surgery best practices and protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, protocol development, and database documentation.
- Support post-discharge follow-up care in outpatient settings and coordinate with home health agencies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current research, evidence-based guidelines, and industry trends in vascular care.
- Assist with outreach to referring providers and contribute to research initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac care or vascular patient management
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows-based systems
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience working in a surgical coordinator, navigator, or outpatient procedural setting is highly desirable

License / Certification
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
