Networks Connect is conduction a search on behalf of our client for an experienced and driven Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab to lead the clinical and operational functions of a high-performing cardiac program. This full-time leadership role carries 24/7 accountability and is ideal for a skilled RN, RTR, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist with a strong foundation in cath lab operations and a passion for advancing cardiovascular care. Duties
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Cardiac Cath Lab, ensuring alignment with hospital-wide goals and quality standards
- Oversee patient care delivery, nursing practices, and staffing needs for consistent clinical excellence
- Drive regulatory compliance with standards from TJC, OSHA, CDC, ACHA, and other governing bodies
- Lead departmental budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource planning to meet revenue and cost targets
- Collaborate across departments and disciplines to promote safe, patient-centered, and evidence-based care
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to support staff accountability and patient satisfaction
- Guide personnel actions including hiring, coaching, evaluations, and progressive discipline
- Champion initiatives that promote continuous improvement, high reliability, and a just culture
- Serve as a patient and staff advocate while fostering a culture of inclusion, professionalism, and clinical excellence
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field required
- Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Technologist in Radiography (RTR), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required
- Florida RN license or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist license required
- Master’s Degree preferred
- 3–5 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience required
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience preferred
- BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required
- Strong understanding of healthcare finance, strategic planning, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other administrative software tools
- Exceptional decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Analytical and budget-conscious with proven success managing complex operations
- Motivational leadership style focused on team development and patient satisfaction
- Comfortable managing change in a dynamic healthcare environment
