We are seeking to hire an experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to our team. We have a full-time opportunity available in downtown Indianapolis working in a sleep lab.
As a Sleep Lab Technologist, you will perform basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies and may provide supervision of other staff. You will also be responsible for preparing patient equipment for testing, interviewing patients to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain pre and post testing procedures. thoroughly, you will perform and document testing per lab protocols, monitor patients throughout testing, and assist with scoring and generating reports.

Responsibilities

- Additionally, you will perform and document testing per lab protocols, monitor patients throughout testing, and assist with scoring and generating reports.
Requirements
- Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Associates Degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience required.
License / Certification
- Certification by a nationally recognized certification board and holds either the Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), or Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) credential.
- or Successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than 1 year duration associated with a state licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician
