Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide excellent nursing care to patients which includes monitoring patient and family needs, planning, coordination, teaching, counseling, and direct physical care
Your skills and enthusiasm for detailed and reliable care to help patients progress toward outcomes will be used daily and are an essential aspect of care provision
You will have an opportunity to assist others in providing delegated aspects of care and function as a member of the interdisciplinary team

Requirements

Graduation from high school or GED
Graduation from accredited school of Practical Nursing
Experience with and knowledge of medical terminology and medications
Experience with and knowledge of medical office procedures, including draw/administration of injections
Knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation

License / Certification

Current license as a practical nurse in the state of Kansas
Basic Life Support is required
Additional certifications may be required depending on department/unit assigned
