Responsibilities
- In this role, you will provide excellent nursing care to patients which includes monitoring patient and family needs, planning, coordination, teaching, counseling, and direct physical care
- Your skills and enthusiasm for detailed and reliable care to help patients progress toward outcomes will be used daily and are an essential aspect of care provision
- You will have an opportunity to assist others in providing delegated aspects of care and function as a member of the interdisciplinary team
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or GED
- Graduation from accredited school of Practical Nursing
- Experience with and knowledge of medical terminology and medications
- Experience with and knowledge of medical office procedures, including draw/administration of injections
- Knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
License / Certification
- Current license as a practical nurse in the state of Kansas
- Basic Life Support is required
- Additional certifications may be required depending on department/unit assigned
