Networks Connect Healthcare Staffing is currently conducting a search for a PRN Nurse Practitioner – NP at a Behavioral Health Hospital. The ideal candidate is a team player, sees the big picture, has emergency room experience, adaptable, accustomed to multiple issues, has electronic medical records experience, and very detailed. It’s important for the candidates to ‘fit in’ in the culture, flexible, understands, and can easily shift as situations change.

Responsibilities

• Complete History and Physical on new patients on both Adult and Youth Behavioral Health Hospitals
• Review Problem List, edit as necessar
• Review Home Medications and restart/modify medical meds as needed
• Must see patients within 24 hours of their admission
• Round on any patients requiring any medical follow up
• document in Cerner using a Progress Note
• Collaborate with psychiatry regarding any questions/needs
• Follow up on labs and document in Cerner

Requirements

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members as well as clients
• Minimum of one (1) years of clinical experience in a medical setting

License / Certification

• Completion of a Master’s Program (Nurse Practitioner) from an accredited school of nursing
• Current licensure as a licensed Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the state of WI
• Current CPR certification
