Networks Connect is a healthcare staffing solutions company serving the short-term, long-term contract, temporary-to-hire, and direct-hire staffing service needs of all companies in the healthcare industry.

  • This is an in office position
  • Part-time: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00am to 5:00pm

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of payroll experience and will possess the following traits: positive, team player, patient, reliable, focused, resourceful. They prioritize tasks and demonstrate a willingness to learn from leaders and teammates. This position is challenging yet rewarding due to the nature of processing multiple-states.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for entering payroll for multiple entities on a weekly basis.

  • Process multi-state payroll for 700 employees on a weekly basis
  • Accurate and timely processing of the weekly timesheets
  • Entering start and end times onto the payroll software
  • Collecting and verifying employee and timekeeper data
  • Gathering and examining timesheets to ensure their validity
  • Works with managers to resolve payroll issues
  • Cross train and learn all activities in order to effectively support the department in the absence of the department manager
  • Responds to all inquiries relating to pay, benefits, taxes, garnishments, etc by employee
  • Ensuring that compensation for overtime work is calculated at the appropriate rate and that annual leave is calculated accordingly, if applicable
  • Research and follow up on payroll-related questions with an end goal of resolving problems
  • Performing all tasks well before the pay run to ensure that staff members are compensated and notified on time
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Previous payroll experience
  • Process weekly Payroll experience – Preferred
  • Multi-state payroll experience – Preferred
  • Experience with high volume data entry
  • Degree in business related discipline (Business, Accounting, Finance, HR required
