Human Resources Manager

Who We Are

Are you looking to make an impact and start an HR function at a rapidly growing company? Networks Connect LLC is hiring for its first Human Resources Manager to be located at its Indianapolis, IN Headquarters.

This position will lead and execute the HR function at Networks Connect, so we are requiring prior Human Resources leadership experience so you can start adding value immediately. In this position, you will be the only internal HR employee, but will have external advisory resources available to you to help you achieve our goals. A qualified HR Leader for our organization will have had experience and understanding of the nature of a fast-paced, competitive, high production environment. An on-site presence five days a week will be required to best serve employee relations as well as our culture. Experience guiding effort around leadership and employee development with use of external and internal resources is strongly desired. In this position, you will have a matrixed reporting structure between the President, Vice President of Healthcare Staffing, and Vice President of Operation.

As the Human Resources Manager, your job duties will include:

Company Culture, Strategy and HR Structure

o Firmly grasping the company’s culture and expectations and communicate it to prospective and current employees providing them with information about policies, procedures, and working conditions

o Establishing the HR structure across the organization, including using external partnerships

Employee Life Cycle Management and Execution

o Providing current and prospective employees with information about wages, opportunities for promotion and employee benefits

o Performing employee relations duties, including managing disputes, performance management, terminating employees, and administering disciplinary procedures

o Playing a key role in the onboarding and offboarding of employees and designing these processes and systems

o Planning and conducting new employee orientation

o Conducting exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination


o Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviewing policies and practices to maintain compliance

o Maintaining records and compiling statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates

o Perform unemployment claims administration

o Support in state & local tax registration

Learning and Development

o Creating learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.

o Training new leaders on situational leadership and communication surrounding policies, procedures, expectations, and disciplinary action

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • At least five (5) years of experience in a HR Leadership role
  • Knowledge of Indiana HR Laws and regulations
  • Experience with compensation and benefits administration, including preparing and maintaining budgets
  • Experience working in Paylocity
